The Naimi server is a one-time purchase in two editions, from $149: file-based for solo teams, PostgreSQL for companies under load. You get full source and a Docker deploy, and your data stays on your infrastructure. There is no subscription and no Studio; you build templates with your own agent.
Common billing questions
What’s the difference between a template and a presentation?
A template is the reusable design you build once: a proposal, a price list, an offer. A presentation is one personalized copy of it for a single client. The plan limit counts presentations created in a calendar month; deleting one doesn’t return quota.
What happens to the links I already sent if I downgrade or cancel?
They keep opening. After a downgrade or cancellation you can’t create new things beyond the new plan’s limits, and add-ons the new plan doesn’t support stop applying.
Do I pay per user?
No. The plan price includes 3, 5 or 10 seats. On Business you can add more at $9/month each (each also adds 20 PDF exports a month). Clients view your presentations for free.
What counts toward storage?
Your unpacked template files plus the personalized images you upload for clients. Old template revisions are pruned automatically when you publish a new one.
Is there an annual discount?
Yes. A year costs as much as ten months: Pro $190, Business $490.
How is AI usage paid for?
With AI credits, bought separately from the plan; the first 1,000 are free. Credits are spent when Studio’s AI creates or revises a design. Filling a template for a client doesn’t spend them. Your own agent doesn’t spend them either, but your AI provider’s charges and limits apply. The balance is prepaid and doesn’t reset at the end of the month.
How do the self-hosted editions relate to these plans?
They’re separate, one-time purchases for teams that want to run Naimi on their own infrastructure — full source, your servers, your data, no subscription. Two editions: the file-based Team edition at $149, and the PostgreSQL Scale edition for companies running it org-wide. Neither includes Naimi Studio — self-hosted templates are built with your own agent. See the self-hosted page for the full comparison.
Is the agent kit free?
Yes. The presentation kit (templates plus the skills your AI agent uses to build them) is public on GitHub. You can clone it and build locally before creating any account. Templates built in Naimi Studio are the same kit format.
